The Save Our Seas Foundation is committed to protecting our oceans by funding research, education, awareness and conservation projects focusing on the major threats to the marine environment.
An important focus has been on understanding and protecting the largest shark species; not only do these top predators play a vital role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems, but the population collapse of many sharks has been the most severe of any group of marine animals. These iconic species are also of immense public interest and so serve to promote public understanding of the ongoing wholesale destruction of both fragile marine habitats and the fish stocks they support.
Since 2003, the Save Our Seas Foundation has sponsored more than 150 projects in 42 countries in the areas of Research, Education, Awareness and Conservation.

Studio RAAR is a design studio with a passion for beauty and experiences. Designs of RAAR have an attraction, you want to touch, use modify them. Tactile values are at the center of their concepts. Usability and practicality are not the most common words in the RAAR dictionary.
Studio RAAR’s founders Niels Mulder and Maurice Ciapponi combine industrial and graphic design. For them the essence of design is not only producing something fysical. The goal is to materialise a concept with a soul. The results are products with a twist (“raar” is Dutch for strange). Humour, crazy colours, exuberant designs; it’s a way Studio RAAR translates its values into the work. Sometimes using a product of Studio RAAR even stretches your state of mind. Only for those who are up for the challenge….
Love to all – Studio RAAR

Amsterdam based eco-friendly clothing company Hemp HoodLamb was established in 1993. Hemp HoodLamb winter jackets are world renowned and everyone’s best friend in winter. By using hemp and organic cotton for its clothes, Hemp HoodLamb strives to be part of the movement reversing the negative effects of our consumer society and spread awareness about hemp and its many useful applications. Hemp is the most resource-efficient crop in the world, growing more than three meters tall within a hundred days without chemicals and pesticides and actually returning nutrients to the soil. Hemp has thousands of useful applications, ranging from medicine and fuel to food and clothing. The HoodLamb crew consists of hardcore surfers who surf the less than average, but big shark-free waves of the North Sea year round and try to travel and surf more quality waves as often as possible.
A group of kiteboarders and surfers who loved everything in the extreme wanted to go after bigger waves and harder winds in harsher conditions. Passionate as they were about kiteboarding and surfing they felt that the majority of the existing equipment was holding them back, so they decided to go out on their own and fill the gap. This was the beginning of the Mystic quest (journey). Mystic was founded in 2002 by a small group of kite boarders and surfers who recognized a gap in the market. They set out to create Kite and surfing equipment that was not only durable but that could go the distance and support a rider in extreme conditions allowing the rider to go harder, faster and higher. Their aim was to create a range of equipment by embracing modern technologies and techniques that, in combination with a rider’s natural physical skills would allow them to reach and even surpass their maximum potential. Mystic wanted to create products that push the rider further, break all the boundaries and take the sport to a totally new level.
Mystic have become innovative trailblazers in the Kite and Wind surfing worlds, by combining durability, quality, innovation and technology Mystic has sealed it’s reputation as a force to be reckoned with on an international scale. The Mystic approach is why follow when you can lead.

RVCA is the brainchild of company Founder and Creative Director, PM Tenore. Transcending the boundaries of traditional action sports apparel, RVCA is a design-driven lifestyle brand free from passing trends. Appearing as a natural on the shelves of boutiques as on those of a local skate shop, RVCA is brought together by a group of likeminded individuals from various subcultures, a collaboration of sorts, a lifestyle within itself.
PM Tenore’s intention from the very beginning has been to create a platform for RVCA, which combines art, music, fashion and a modern lifestyle in an original way. At the forefront of this vision has been RVCA’s Artist Network Program (ANP) – a venture established to showcase the talents of accomplished as well as unknown artists who inspire our generation and push the boundaries of creative excellence.
Established to promote the genuine integrity of RVCA’s subcultures while simultaneously giving back to the community, RVCA in essence is redefining the way the market views art and fashion as represented through the balance of opposites and how they coexist: water, oil; air, land; destruction, industrialization; art, science; foreign, domestic; order, anarchy; past, present.
For RVCA, it is about today, tomorrow and life as the big picture. It is about inspiring our generation, providing something of substance and culture and above all doing it with integrity and as a united family, a close-knit community
